Gubongdo and Tando are often grouped as sunset scenery, but their terrain and access differ. The route from Tando toward Nue Island can be submerged by the tide; low tide is not the entire safe crossing window. Mudflats are workplaces and habitat, not empty land. Use official tide predictions and local closure instructions.
Use dated official records and current notices. Record the visit time, weather, route and—where relevant—tide. Separate heritage from reconstruction, production from sale, workplace from attraction, announcement from completion, and one observation from a citywide conclusion. Stay on public routes and seek consent before photographing residents or workers.
