Start Here: A 180-Minute Introduction

Begin in the Line 2–Shinbundang transfer area and walk about 3.5 kilometers through Gangnam-daero, Teheran-ro, Yeoksam’s office district, and Kukkiwon. Subways and buses, office towers, language academies, cosmetic clinics, startup history, nightlife, and the world taekwondo headquarters overlap. Look beyond “Seoul’s busiest place” to the people who commute, study, receive care, deliver, and clean.

0–40 minutes: Identify exits precisely

Gangnam Station has many exits and the two sides of the road belong to different districts. Give not only an exit number but a subway gate and building. Follow flow in the underground mall and never stop at escalator landings.

40–90 minutes: See consumption and labor together

Behind brands, restaurants, clinics, and beauty advertising are sales, consultation, cleaning, security, and delivery workers. Do not enlarge medical before-and-after images or strangers’ faces for amusement. Keep crossings and sidewalks moving.

90–140 minutes: Read corporate time on Teheran-ro

Compare finance, IT, shared offices, and older small buildings toward Yeoksam Station. Lobbies and restaurants suddenly fill at lunch and after work. Use only public areas and never film office interiors or access cards.

140–180 minutes: Find another Gangnam at Kukkiwon

Climb through Yeoksam Park. Confirm event and visitor access. Understand Kukkiwon as an institution for training, testing, and international organization, not merely a tourist performance hall. Wear shoes suitable for the slope.
