A projected sky is not the actual sky
A planetarium can explain stars beneath a dome regardless of daylight or clouds. Telescope observation depends on weather, air quality, wind, season and the position of celestial objects. A changed or cancelled observation is not necessarily poor management; uncertainty is part of observing nature.
An interactive exhibit should produce a question
Real specimens, models, replicas and digital devices appear together. Read the label to learn which is which. Before pressing a button, predict what changing a condition should do, then compare the result. That small habit turns an entertaining mechanism into scientific reasoning and keeps visitors from treating science as a list of final answers.
Check the Monday closure, language support and each facility’s reservation page before travelling. Choose two gallery areas and one reserved program instead of trying to cover everything. Foreign-language guidance may be uneven, so preparing a few key terms helps. The museum’s best travel lesson is learning to distinguish simulation from observation, original object from model, and prediction from evidence.
