Jeongnamjin is Jangheung’s regional name built around the idea of lying due south of Gwanghwamun in Seoul. A marker in Nampo Village, Yongsan-myeon, commemorates this geographic identity.
The Nampo marker is distinguished from the Jeongnamjin Observatory at another location. An inadequately sourced unveiling date has been removed.
