Visit indoor facilities first, then connect façades and lanes after sunset. Allow about 90 minutes for roughly two kilometers, including the uphill section.
5:30 p.m.: Gyeongbokgung's wall and Chebu-dong
Begin at Gyeongbokgung Station and enter the western lanes. Instead of focusing on restaurant queues along the main road, look at the low rooflines and orient yourself toward Inwangsan. If the Chebu-dong community cultural center is open, examine the old church structure; if it is closed, view it only from outside.
6:10 p.m.: From Tongin Market to Ogin-dong
Buy only what you will eat and do not obstruct shops preparing to close. As you climb into Ogin-dong, connect the Park No-soo Art Museum with sites associated with other artists. If interior hours have ended, distinguish surviving buildings from markers of vanished places and limit your visit to the exterior.
