Suwoncheon crosses the fortress through water gates and connected defense, drainage, daily water and market access. Modern embankments and paths are not the eighteenth-century river. Covered sections and later reopening should distinguish ecological recovery from newly designed public space. Check dated official sources, use public routes, respect residents and workers, and keep uncertain origins or future plans labeled as such.
