Uiwang links Cheonggye and Naeson in the north, Gocheon and Ojeon centrally, and Bugok in the south through mountains, roads and rail. The railway special zone designated in 2013 covers 2.53 square kilometers around Bugok, not the whole city. Each housing and development district also follows separate designation, construction and occupancy stages.
