A named trail can connect places but also flatten different villages into one tourism narrative. Farm work, homes and facilities outside the guide are not free scenery for photography. The route remains embedded in ordinary life, even where signage makes it feel curated.
Separate evidence and reconstruction
The eleven routes connect existing farm roads, levees, village lanes and forest paths rather than creating a separate tourist world. Different courses reveal tombs, ferries, wetlands and pottery landscapes. Distance estimates cannot replace checks for return transport, closures and water, while residents’ work and privacy take priority on shared lanes.
