The cycleway reveals river geography and infrastructure

The route joins three weirs and parks as part of a longer national trail, shared by cyclists and pedestrians.

Read the structure first

Safety depends on maintenance crews, clear signs and predictable behavior as well as personal equipment. River wind and temperature change fatigue, while flooding changes surfaces; a distance printed on a map is therefore not a complete estimate of effort or risk.

Separate evidence and reconstruction

A line on a cycling map conceals ramps, levees, bridge approaches and crowded park sections. The route links the three weirs and reveals changing river width, farmland and settlements, but it is also shared infrastructure. Lighting, controlled overtaking, reduced speed and closure checks matter more than completion records.

A note for visitors

Use a helmet and lights, announce overtaking and check flood or construction detours.
