Hantangang cliffs record two processes: lava cooled and contracted into joints, then rivers cut through the basalt plateau. Not every crack is a column, and UNESCO Global Geopark status is different from World Heritage inscription. Rock, cooling direction and erosion require site-specific explanation. Use dated official information, remain in public areas, respect residents and workers, and record uncertainty instead of filling it with a dramatic claim.
