Opened in 2017, it offers free on-site reading and hosts talks, performances and exhibitions. It is neither a lending library nor a silent study room; think of it as an indoor civic square organized around books.
Not every high shelf is accessible
The upper shelves are also visual architecture. Do not climb structures or obstruct seats for photography. Choose books from reachable shelves and avoid capturing readers’ faces without consent.
