Its name does not guarantee a Han River view from every district. Compensation, relocation, infrastructure, first occupancy, schools, shops and railway opening occurred on different schedules, leaving early residents with construction and long commutes. Parks and canals may preserve older features or be newly designed and managed, which must be checked individually. Compare old place names and project boundaries, distinguish project population from current residents, and assess both added housing and the new burden of travel toward Seoul.
