Gunpo Station became the living center of the old town

Gunpo Station opened for service in 1905 and helped concentrate movement, commerce and public functions around old Dang-ri. The present metro platforms and exits are not the original station. Read the shops, Gunpoyeok 1-gil and transfer parking as layers of electrification, industrial commuting and changing commercial centers, not one frozen railway scene. Use dated official records and public routes, respect residents and workers, and keep legends, plans and completed facilities clearly separated.
