When Haebangchon and Huam were forming, public infrastructure was not as sufficient as it is today.

Settled residents secured water and cut roads themselves, building what they needed for daily life one piece at a time Estimate. It can be presumed that cooperation and community among neighbors formed together in this process.

This village's formation process is not one planned from above, but a history of self-reliance built up from below. Remembering that every alley you walk today is the result of this self-built formation makes this neighborhood look different.
