Jindo carries, within a single island, the resistance of the Sambyeolcho, the victory of Yi Sun-sin, the sound of Jindo Arirang, and the memory held at Paengmok Harbor — stories from very different eras. These nine stories are each independent, but all of them have unfolded on the single stage of this island.
That such a small island could hold so many different kinds of stories at once is what makes it distinctive.
