A citizen report in 1991 led to excavations in 1998 and 2002. They identified kilns used from late Silla into early Goryeo, everyday vessels, celadon and some white porcelain, plus firing tools. An earthen kiln and a Chinese-style arched brick kiln document technological change and exchange, but do not by themselves identify individual foreign potters or an exact route.
Record the visit date, weather and seasonal conditions. Verify current opening, booking, access and transport notices. Keep heritage and reconstruction, workplace and attraction, natural channel and designed park, official boundary and lived neighborhood distinct. Use public paths, respect residents and workers, and leave unverified claims as questions rather than filling gaps.
