Ganeung and Nogyang combine the Gyeongwon railway, roads, military parcels, older homes and newer apartments. Legal-dong, administrative-dong and residents’ neighbourhood names do not always match, so statistics require boundary dates. Ganeung and Nogyang stations improve commuting while tracks and large fenced sites also divide east-west walking routes. Electrification, station changes and housing occupation happened on different schedules. Returned military land creates hopes for parks and facilities but also cleanup, construction and rent pressures. Compare pedestrian links around both stations, respect military and school photography limits, and classify redevelopment by official notice, remediation, construction and occupancy rather than by promotional images.
