Baegun is an artificial lake completed in 1953 to supply irrigation water toward Anyang and Pyeongchon. Restaurants, cafes, paths, housing and knowledge-industry development arrived later. Promotional claims about clear water are not water-quality measurements, while proposed parks and themed districts must be separated from completed public access. Use dated official records and public routes, respect residents and workers, and separate traditions, plans and completed facilities.
