At Yeongwonsanseong, Won Chung-gap and Wonju residents repelled Hapdan forces in 1291. During the Japanese invasions in 1592, magistrate Kim Je-gap fought there and died in battle. The heritage address is Panbu-myeon, Geumdae-ri San 50-2 and nearby parcels; a road address previously used in the manuscript was not the official designated location.
