Korean Folk Village collects, relocates, restores and reconstructs buildings and practices for display, performance and participation. It is not one Joseon village preserved unchanged. Visitors should distinguish relocated houses, new replicas and staged characters, and examine farmers, artisans and market labor beyond elite residences. Use dated official sources and public routes, respect residents and workers, and separate traditions, plans and completed facilities.
