The fortress and government-office site lies in Suam-dong, apart from City Hall and Jungang Station. It preserves investigated ground and terrain rather than a complete walled town. Joseon Ansan County and the present city had different borders. Separate excavated remains, reconstructed sections and conjectural layouts.

Separate heritage from reconstruction, production from sale, workplace from attraction, announcement from completion, and one observation from a citywide conclusion. Stay on public routes and seek consent before photographing residents or workers.
