The Yulpo Seawater Green Tea Center is a facility operated directly by Boseong County, offering content that combines two of the region's most representative resources into one. At its core is the "green tea seawater bath," which mixes briny seawater drawn from 120 meters underground with green tea extracts sourced from Boseong's mountains. Two resources that might, at first glance, seem entirely unrelated — the sea and the mountains — meet here within a single bath.
Housed in a three-story building, the center features an open-air seawater bath and therapy facilities on the third floor, with full-scale men's and women's bathhouses and sauna facilities on the second floor. Visitors have reported that the combination of catechins from green tea and minerals from seawater helps soothe skin, relieve fatigue, and improve blood circulation. Buoyed by this popularity, the center draws many visitors. Boseong's natural resources, accumulated over a long span of time, have been newly combined in the 21st century into the thoroughly everyday form of tourism content: a bath.
