Architecture concentrates speed
City tourism information gives a total area of 75,444 square meters and describes the asymmetrical shell as a cycling helmet. The roof enables racing regardless of weather and focuses spectators on the track. A race also depends on officials, mechanics, safety staff and regulated professional athletes.
Public benefit does not remove private risk
Revenue may support public purposes, but betting can still cause loss and addiction. Do not chase losses or treat wagering as a required Korean experience. Rules, age restrictions and refund or tax conditions can be difficult for a foreign visitor; watching without buying is a valid and safer choice.
Confirm race days and separate opening times for outdoor facilities. Observe track banking, start procedures and information screens without photographing personal betting screens or restricted work areas. The most revealing experience is seeing how a modern city places athletic speed, family recreation and a gambling economy beneath one public-looking roof.
