Six sections totaling 31.5 kilometers surround the lake. Dam, ridge, healing, contemplation, family, and remembrance routes differ in distance, slope, and trailhead. One name does not mean one flat promenade.
Route 5 is not the entire trail
The looped Family Route is widely promoted, while other sections cross different terrain and communities. Do not generalize one route to all 31.5 kilometers.
Walking trails are managed facilities
Decks, signs, toilets, and parking require maintenance. Heavy rain, wildfire, or ice may close sections without a simple detour.
Leisure and submerged memory share the place
Enjoy walking without reducing Manghyang Hill to a photo prop. Residents’ memory and present tourism coexist.
