Borimsa’s stupa and stele for Master Bojo honor Chejing, who helped establish the Gajisan tradition. The stele records his life and activities and is an important source for the development of Buddhism and Seon in late Silla.
The stupa and stele are each designated Treasures, with designation confirmed on January 21, 1963. A precise construction date has not been asserted without fuller source comparison.
